Team Announcements ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Fall/Winter Season Messages: (updated 03-04-2010) Stingrays Win 2nd Place at 12 & Under State Championships. (updated 03-04-2010) Congratulations to all of the swimmers that participated in the Regional and State swim meets. The past two weekends were very successful. It was a record season for the number of swimmers qualifying for the State meets. Our 12 & under swimmers placed 2nd at their State Championship meet. Twenty (20) teams from throughout Iowa participated in the meet. Contributing to the team’s success were our 8 & Under girls and 9 & 10 girls who won their divisions. Our 9 & 10 and 11 & 12 boys finished 2nd in their respective age-group divisions. Also, attached is our flier for the spring/summer season. All families are encouraged to come, all swimmers will receive a T-Shirt and Trophy. Several of the January invoices were lost last month due to the recent issues with Mediacom and other providers rejecting "bulk mail" from Mediacom accounts. If you did not receive your February invoice, please contact Lisa Nauman at jlnauman@mchsi.com. State Shirt & Caps Meet participants will receive their State shirt and cap at the pasta dinner. The expense is expected not to exceed $15. If you do not want to purchase a shirt and cap, please email me by this Friday (02/12) Jim Anderson - PVST pvstingrays@mchsi.com. Team Banquet Our Banquet will be on March 9th(Tuesday) from 5:30 to 9:00 at PVHS. Come enjoy the celebration of a great season. All swimmers will receive a trophy and a team shirt. A professional photographer will take a team photo at 5:30 pm in the pool area. The document is “optional”, but is requested to help the coaches individualize the program for each swimmer.
